Keep the source intact
Import the columns your gallery already uses.
Choose a CSV or paste its contents, then select Map source columns. Assign each required field to a different header. ConsignClear retains the unchanged original CSV, the chosen mapping and the physical source line for each artwork.
Check the units before confirming
Price must already be USD, with plain decimal amounts such as 200.00. Commission uses basis points: 3500 means 35%, while 35 means 0.35%. There is no currency or percentage conversion. If your export uses percent values, make a separately labeled conversion copy and retain your upstream original outside the app.
Map quantity when it exists
This tool supports one original artwork per row. Map a quantity column so values other than 1 are rejected. Without a quantity mapping, the row is interpreted as one original. Editions and bulk stock require a different workflow.
Review the interpretation
The preview validates all rows, shows the first five interpreted records and lists mapped and unused columns. Unused columns remain inside the original CSV and full archive, even when they are not used in artwork records. Review private data before sharing either file.
Recover the same source later
Download original CSV returns the input text unchanged. A full archive replays the same mapping. An already-imported exact source cannot be silently reinterpreted with a different map. Download a current archive before restoring another ledger. Older app versions may reject an archive containing mapped imports.
Up to1000 works,100 unique columns and1MB of CSV text per import. Stock IDs retain leading zeroes. Mapping choices reset when CSV content or workspace changes; no named presets are saved yet.
